Download Sandustry from the official Steam store, or use Lantto's itch.io page for the browser trial. Check platforms, requirements, and the separate free demo.
To download Sandustry, use the official Steam store page for the Early Access game. Lantto’s official itch.io page is the other confirmed route and hosts the browser trial; the Steam demo has its own separate listing.

The collected official homepage does not list a separate direct installer outside these channels. Avoid repackaged downloads that are not linked by Lantto or Hooded Horse.
Steam game versus free demo
Steam lists the main game as Early Access, single-player, and developed by Lantto Games with Hooded Horse as publisher. The store page also lists Steam Workshop, Steam Cloud, achievements, and trading cards. The demo is a different free product page, so installing it does not require owning the main game.
The itch.io page is marked HTML5 and in development. It is a browser trial rather than evidence of a separate native macOS or Linux installer. For installed builds, use the Steam listing and its platform selector.
Supported platforms and requirements
The Steam listing provides Windows, macOS, and SteamOS + Linux tabs. For Windows, its minimum entry is Windows 10 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, a quad-core Intel i5-4670K or AMD FX-8100-class processor, a GTX 550 Ti or Radeon HD 7750-class GPU, DirectX 11, and 1 GB available storage. The recommended entry is 8 GB RAM, a six-core Intel i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600-class processor, and a GTX 960 or Radeon RX 570-class GPU.
The macOS tab lists macOS 12 Monterey or later, 4 GB RAM minimum, 8 GB recommended, and 1 GB storage. The Linux tab repeats the processor, memory, graphics, and storage tiers without a separate distribution requirement. The store marks an SSD as recommended. Re-check the live store page before installing because Early Access requirements can change.
